Standard Poodle Puppies (Available)
Expected Size: Weight 45-70lbs • Height 18-24 inches
Temperament: The Standard Poodle is one of the most obedient and smartest breeds, combining a playful enthusiasm and an adventurous spirit. Preserving its love for hunting, it is fond of swimming, running, and retrieving.
Poodles are good family dogs — fun, energetic, smart, and easy to train. They do best with plenty of exercise for both mind and body and prefer to be with people most of the time. They are not good kennel dogs. Socialization should begin early and include other people, other pets, and the grooming routine. These dogs are exceptional jumpers, so be careful with your yard fencing!
It should be remembered that poodles are basically hunting dogs in elegant attire and do require exercise and training to be at their best as companion dogs.

What Our Puppy Owners Are Saying:
Ashley Gets a Five Star Rating
From the moment we put a deposit down on Winston she was there to answer any and all questions. She’s sweet and you just know how well she takes care of her dogs and their pups! Driving to Missouri was worth picking up our little guys who we all adore . He has been an asset to our family from the minute we picked him up! I would definitely hands down recommend Forrest Haven K9 pups for your next pup!!
We are so in love with him and can not thank Ashley enough!
I could not recommend Ashley more for any person or family looking for a new addition to their family. Ashley was more than accommodating with talking on the phone and answering any questions I had before we put down the deposit for Marty. She stayed in close contact with us as we booked our flights from Boston to meet her and pick Marty up. Even with a change of plans (COVID) and a delay on getting to St. Louis she accommodated us and reassured us that she would keep Marty until we were able to come! She even drove a long way (in the snow) to meet me at the airport so that I did not have to rent a car. Even after dropping Marty off with me, she kept in touch with me the whole time until we safely got home.
Ashley made herself available to answer any questions or reply to any updates we have had during the first few months of having Marty home. As for Marty, and the bernedoodle breed, I also could not recommend it more. Ashley raises amazing and beautiful puppies. We have a 4 year old daughter and Marty has been amazing with her as they continue to get used to each other. He is gentle, silly, and such a cuddler! We also have other dogs in our extended family that we see often and Marty is so social. He just wants to have fun and gets along with every other dog. Everywhere we go we get stopped by strangers asking what kind of dog Marty is and where we got him. He was house trained very quickly and has been very well-behaved, especially for a puppy!
